Sonia Cornwall (19192006) worked primarily as a painter but also produced woodblock prints and drawings. Sonias mother Vivien attended the Banff School of Fine Arts, and it was through her that Sonia met A. Y. Jackson in 1943 as he was teaching at the school. Jackson became a regular visitor to Vivien and Sonias home, the Onward
